Summary
The backstory of the game is that the protagonist is a witch who has noticed that his forest is slowly dying due to a mysterious poison that is corrupting life and mocking nature. He leaves the safety of his house to find the source of this corruption.

The gameplay mechanics include walking, double jumping and shooting magic projectiles that consume mana. If the player has depleted their mana pool, they can still shoot projectiles but at the cost of a portion of their health. Enemies have simple patrol between points in the scene and the goblin enemy has simple AI. The goblin chases and attacks the player when in range.

Simple pixel art was created using Adobe XD and Photoshop like the scroll icon, health icon, mana potion icon, experience counter icon and the HUD.

Known Issue:
1. There is no kill box when the player falls off the viewport
2. The ladder is not interactable

Next Steps:
1. Recreate the game in the Unity engine
2. Extend the existing level
3. Include more mechanics to the game environment and the player
