User interviews were conducted to understand their routine, their behavior and lifestyle. During the interviews, 6 users mentioned they were fashion-conscious and enjoy staying current with the outfits they wear.
A market analysis of existing fashion apps, such as Closet+ & Stylebook, revealed that they were mostly closet organization and outfit selectors. Few to none were based on inspiring the users.
The data from the interviews was analyzed into a customer journey map that indicated specific pain points that helped discover the problem.
Users spent an average time of 20 minutes thinking or searching for an inspiration of an outfit to wear the morning.
1. Increase in time spent to decide an outfit results in low stress and panic
2. Chosen outfit plays a significant role in their confidence and mood levels
3. User consults social media and their followed fashion trendsetters for inspiration, which leads them through various “rabbit-holes”, and they have lost track of time.

2. Conduct user testing and reiterate designs
3. Execute higher fidelity wire frames and prototypes
4. Explore and discover development and execution-ability of the mobile app
